Novian Health is a privately held company headquartered in Chicago, specializing in proprietary technology for tumor treatment called Novilase Interstitial Laser Therapy. Their patented procedure, Novilase, is a minimally invasive approach using controlled laser heating to destroy tumors. In Europe, Novilase has received the CE Mark for the focal destruction of malignant and benign breast tumors. It holds the distinction of being the first ablation device approved for breast cancer treatment.

The company was founded by the late Dr. Kambiz Dowlat, a renowned breast surgeon and professor of surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
